William Wartmann and his wife Joyce (Brach) Wartmann were artists. William did sculpture and Joyce did watercolor.At this sale we will be selling artwork from the both of them. Their artwork was recognized in the Edgerton and surrounding areas, being of local interest. Sculpture of "Wild Turkey" won first prize at the UW Madison Art Fair in the 1960's Billsi Sculpture the German general of the industrial age. The watercolors by Joyce are beautiful colorful landscapes of the area.
