About

American Legacy Firearms opened its doors in 2004. Since then, we constantly strive to be the leaders in our corner of the gun industry. Our goal has always been to deliver quality engraved firearms at an affordable price. We believe in “art with a bang”- the idea that paper and canvas are not the only medium available for creating a piece of art that you can hang on your wall.

Our main office is located in Fort Collins, Colorado and is made up of roughly 20 employees. We are a family owned company. Our manufacturing employs another 25 people. We are a mixed group; born across six decades, covering three branches of the armed forces, and with a variety of personalities. Most of us are hunters and fishers who enjoy spending quality time outdoors with our friends and families.

Over the years, we have been proud to work with multiple firearm manufacturers, including well-known names such as Ruger, Henry, Ithaca, Winchester, Colt, Kahr, and Mossberg. We have also worked directly with two of the largest gun-rights organizations in the country: the National Rifle Association and the Second Amendment Foundation. Many of our guns have been used in raffles and for fundraising within different organizations. We are always glad to help the people and groups that fight to support and defend our Second Amendment rights.

Our recent focus has been on the large projects we’ve done for the NRA and the SAF, as well as focusing on much smaller, local projects. With our heritage collections, we really get to learn about a variety of different towns and cities across the country. We all appreciate the deep connection people develop with the places they are born and raised, and we feel that our Heritage Collection celebrates that bond.

Our continuing goal is to support and encourage the love of firearms. We hope our guns will help you continue your legacy. We are constantly looking for new ideas and new ways to celebrate the things that make us all proud to be Americans- our families, our friends, and our country.
